Rev. Angie Cox to Join LUMC
as Associate Pastor
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The Staff Parish Relations Committee and I are pleased to announce that Bishop Palmer has appointed Rev. Angie Cox to become Livingston’s part-time Associate Pastor on July 1, 2021. Pastor Angie has been the Associate at Broad Street UMC since 2018 and will continue to serve Broad Street as their part-time Associate. We give thanks to our District Superintendent, Dr. Tim Bias, who made Pastor Angie’s appointment possible due to District ministry funds.
Who is Pastor Angie? Angie is married to Annette and they met in college and have been together for more than twenty years. They are parents to a feisty and talkative Siberian Husky named Pax, and to a Pyrador (Great Pyrenees/Labrador mix) named Ezekiel, “Zeke” for short. Both Angie and Annette enjoy running, cycling, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding. Angie is an avid reader and loves to travel, both within the United States and internationally.
Pastor Angie will be preaching for the first time at Livingston July 11 - we hope you will join us then either in person or online!
Please lift up Pastor Angie in your prayers as she prepares to serve Jesus at Livingston church.
Sundays at 10:30 am
Please join us Sunday mornings for in-person worship service in the sanctuary. Service begins at 10:30 am. For the protection of our unvaccinated children, we are asking everyone to wear a mask while inside the building. Fellowship time will be held outside immediately after church.
Our current worship series "Pop Verses." we are taking a closer look at some popular verses and the context in which they appear. We'll learn why they are so popular and how they apply to our daily lives.
Our services are also available for streaming live at 10:30 am.
